About Us
It started as Debbie's vision.
A Room with a View is owned and operated by Debbie James, a CNA with over 20 years of experience.
Debbie realized her purpose in life was to care for others. It all started as a child. She grew up on a farm always caring for animals; but not only animals, her younger siblings too.
When a fire destroyed the milking barn, farming was over. Debbie took a CNA course at SWTC and has been a CNA for over 20 years now. She enjoys helping the elderly, and the history they have to share.
Debbie’s two boys refer to the nursing home as their second home. In their free time, they would visit the residents, playing games with them and making birthday cakes.
Debbie is furthering her purpose in life by caring for others in her home.
The Amazing Atmosphere
A Room With a View offers unique atmosphere, like no other.
We are located on 40 remaining acres of the family farm. Debbie is the 4th generation. The land is surrounded by maple and pine trees and CRP.
Wildlife creatures come and go. Deer, owls, hummingbirds, rabbits, butterflies and even bald eagles. Huge front porch and backyard deck. The sunrise and sunset are beautiful. They can be seen perfectly from the porch or deck.
